The flagship cuvee, the 2006 Mauro Terreus is sourced from a single vineyard of old-vine Tempranillo produced only in the better vintages. Like the V.S. bottling, it demonstrates a vibrant, energetic personality complementing its fragrant bouquet of exotic spices, lavender, and black fruits. Plush, rich, and layered, it has terrific volume, precision balance, and enough structure to evolve for 8-10 years. This lengthy effort will provide much pleasure through 2031. 98 von 100 Punkten.
